Cell Phone Crashing: Disneyland Edition

I was linked to this video yesterday and couldn’t stop laughing — I HAD TO SHARE! I’m not sure if you’ve ever seen this guy or heard of him and this sketch but he’s hilarious.  MediocreFilms puts out his borderline Dad-joke level of humor videos and they come off as hilarious.  And now, he’s taken Disneyland!

Watch these two videos — a main edit and an outtakes edit.  Super funny and SUPER awkward… for some.

An Ongoing Study of DLR Window Displays

It’s HalloweenTime at the Disneyland Resort! It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite times of the year at the park. I love the cooler weather, the costumes, the decorations, the food, the changing foliage and the window displays.

I love that the window displays are constantly changing with the seasons and holidays at the Disneyland Resort. They don’t always reflect the merchandise sold in the parks. At times they are little environments that invite you in and tickle your imagination.

Currently Main Street has offerings that display classic Americana, fitting of the turn of the century theme with classic wooden figurines, felt figures, elegant baked goods and a variety of creepy critters and spooky elements.  Each one encased in their own environments forcing you to step a bit closer and take a peek. You may even spy a classic Disney villain or two.

HalloweenTime at Disneyland is here until October 31st.

Happy Memorial Day!

Hey everyone!  We hope you’re all having an amazing Memorial Day this year.  Maybe you’re out barbecuing or at the Disneyland Resort for the long weekend, but whatever it is, I highly recommend witnessing this event in person at the DLR or watching this video.

I had just gotten engaged in July of 2010 and my financé and I took a lovebird trip to Disneyland to celebrate.  We watched this ceremony at sunset and took it it’s beauty and emotional grandeur.  It certainly touches you no matter what your age!  This is also my favorite security guard at the resort taking down the flag!

Enjoy!
