Neat Christmas Gift!

This Christmas, I got a lot of cool gifts but this one I felt I should share.  I have recently been using a new Chapstick from EOS.  It can be found at Target and Costco and comes in a variety of flavors.

My mom, in her infinite wisdom, remembered this and got me some more as a stocking stuffer — but these were different.  While still from EOS, they were Alice in Wonderland chap-sticks with new flavors and an awesome design!  Hidden Mickeys!

I like to see these little details.  Really drives home the idea of detail and good design.  Did you get any unconventional Disney gifts?

Hidden Mickeys

We love Hidden Mickeys!  So much so, that our friends at Well.io suggested we use their new list app to catalog them.  But we’d love your help!  Feel free to suggest some to us.  Via the app, you can post pictures in the comments of your suggestions and we just might feature it!  It’s a cool fun way to have an archive of them! You can find this list in the future in the Fun & Games Sub-Menu in our Articles section above!

Here’s the list we started for Disneyland!  I’ll be at the parks tomorrow to add photos to the ones I added so far.

Disneyland Custodial Artwork

This was one of the coolest things I have seen at the park.  A quick google search will show that the custodial team at TDA has been at this for a while, but with as much time as I have spent at the parks I have never seen this!

We had just finished out Fantasmic! 20th anniversary showing, had already ridden on Big Thunder Mountain and were headed to Pirates… when we saw a few people admiring something on the ground.  We saw some water on the ground and as our eyes adjusted to the ground in front of Riverbell Terrace, we realized that it was artwork!

Here are some pictures we snapped of a few of the characters drawn on the ground and to boot, I caught some video of the cast member drawing a huge Mickey Mouse in front of Pirates!  Enjoy!

Some more Hidden Mickeys!

I am back from my honeymoon!  Thanks to everyone for the well-wishes and love.  We are still catching up but I will post when I can.  I still haven’t made it down to the land since we got back!  Luckily, the entire RSP team is going to Mickey’s Halloween Party this Friday!

More on that later.  For now, check out these few Hidden Mickeys I have been saving up!  Enjoy!

Hidden Treasures

I love all of the hidden gems in the parks. From Europe to Anaheim or Mickeys to restrooms, there are so many small details and special touches that really drive the vision of Walt Disney into genius.

This gem is one I was shown by a cast member inside the brand new Star Trader in Tomorrowland. It’s a hidden Mickey do you see it?

It took me a while to find it but sure enough it was there. i actually thought this was the one she was talking about.

This also made me re-think my skepticism about the one on the planet at the Space Mountain exit. These hidden Mickeys are so well hidden that some can just be glanced over without a thought.

What are some of the most illusive “hidden trasures” you have found at the parks – be it hidden Mickey or otherwise? I cant wait to tell you about all of the freemason symbols throughout the park.

Hidden Mickeys

We all know the standard hidden mickeys (and if you don’t, check out this book here)

But some of my favorite hidden mickeys are the ones you stumble upon and once you share it, you notice people eavesdropping and then telling their friends. You might say that hidden Mickeys are one of the original viral campaigns.

This one is a favorite of mine.
