Our Top 5 Queues!

Queues! The places you wait before experiencing an attraction! These can be tedious or highly enjoyable! Walt Disney learned early that entertaining the guest in all instances was of the utmost importance if he wanted to have his park stand out from other amusement parks.

In this episode, we reveal each of our top 5 queues as well as cover some history of the ideas behind themed queues and where exactly do queues end and where does the attraction begin? We then dig a little into queues that have opportunities to improve.

Here’s a great queue feature from the Tiki Room! I can’t believe there isn’t a source video available for this one!

And speaking of the Tiki Room, when Maynard is working, guests are surely in for a treat!

Here’s the amazing Splash Mountain Rap Inthia discusses on the show!

Walt was inspired to theme his queues when he visited the Calico Mine Ride at Knotts. Check that out here!

And for good measure, here’s the amazing queue for Escape from Gringotts at Universal Orlando!

Also, we did the research! The Indiana Jones Adventure queue looks to go beneath the train and berm if one looks at Google Maps

Finally, Joe Rohde’s Twitter is always an amazing read so be sure to check that out, too!
